The Innovation Math is a challenge for educators, student teams, gamers, programmers, and anyone who has a great idea to create fun and engaging math educational media.

WGBH Educational Foundation is seeking up to 100 educational media digital resources (videos, games, interactives, infographics, and manipulatives) that are directed towards middle school students and loosely aligned with the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. The digital resources selected will be showcased on PBS LearningMedia as part of a middle school math resource collection.

WGBH is looking for content that engages a wide range of students by reflecting a wide range of culturally responsive perspectives and learning styles.

Are there prizes?

Yes! Each selected asset will receive a $1,000 prize.

Can I submit multiple assets?

Yes! Use a separate form for each entry to ensure all of your submissions are considered.

Who are the judges?

Assets will be reviewed and chosen by an esteemed panel of judges consisting of math content reviewers and producers.

Who is eligible to submit an asset?

Anyone is eligible to submit an educational media asset! WGBH is looking to include a diverse range of programmers and producers including educators and young people to produce engaging media assets. People can participate individually or as a team.
