Job Requirements:

·             2 years / AA degree OR high school degree with pertinent experience working with children with autism or special needs

·             Commitment, strong work ethic, ability to be a team player

·             Able to work between 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

·             Starting rate at $10-12/hour

The Teacher Education Program (TEP) Marketplace/Fair event is only 2 days away!!!!


Please don’t forget to stop by anytime between 3:00 and 6:00 PM at North Campus, building 62, room 154 (in the library) and learn all about the five bachelor programs offered by the TEP, as well as other critical information such as financial aid and scholarships, how to become a substitute teacher, and field placement, among many other topics.

Riverglades Elementary in Parkland is looking for Part-Time Aftercare Child Care Monitors available Monday through Friday from 1:30pm to 6:00pm. Candidates will have the opportunity to work with, supervise, and engage with students in a variety of activities. Starting salary is $8.00/hr.

High School Diploma is required and 1 year experience with children is preferred. Experience can be qualified as volunteering with children, babysitting, or completing Field Experience hours. Childcare experience must be listed on resume.

The Pathways Breakfast is an event for professionals in the field of education who are interested in obtaining a professional teaching certificate to learn more about their options. The target audience for this event includes paraprofessionals, teacher assistants, substitute teachers, office/cafeteria staff, or anyone else who has already completed a two-year Associate of Arts degree or a Bachelor’s degree in any field other than education.
