Candidates for Summer Coral Reef Biodiversity and Resilience REU Program
The Summer Coral Reef Biodiversity and Resilience REU program is looking for summer candidates. Please see eligibility requirements below:

- Completed one year of college-level biology, earth science, ocean science, environmental science, or chemistry
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Good academic and disciplinary standing at home university/college
- Will still be an undergraduate in the Fall 2014 semester at home university/college
- US Citizen or permanent resident
- Fluent in English
- Comfortable in ocean and outdoor settings
- Respectful of and compatible with fellow students in dormitory-style accommodations
- Able to adjust to life on a quiet, remote tropical island
Successful applicants to the REU program
will receive room and board at LCRC, funds for transportation to and from Little
Cayman and a competitive stipend. Participants will need to provide their own
passport (required for travel to the Cayman Islands), travel insurance, DAN
insurance (required for divers and snorkelers), and personal expenses.

We are looking for
Assistant Teachers to work in preschool environment.
Lil’ Rascals Academy is looking for assistant teacher
positions to be filled at all 8 of our locations. Each location may have
different needs as to either a lead position or an assistant position. A few
job openings we have at the Weston location are:
Full Time (9 am- 6 pm) assistant teachers for our Infant
room, three year old room, and four year old room.
Part Time (hours vary) assistant after care counselor and
part/floater time floater (a floater is not designated for any specific classroom,
but acts as an assistant teacher).
Hourly wages range depending on experience and
credentials.
Requirements:
*If applicant has worked in a child care center
previously, applicant must bring their transcripts showing that applicant has
received the minimum 45 child care training hours and/or CDA
*If applicant has not previously worked in a child care
center, applicant will have 90 days to register and complete one of the courses
to meet the 45 hours required for child care training after employment date and
12 months to complete the rest of the required training.
*Must be able to pass federal background check
