ATTENTION EPI STUDENTS

There will be a Portfolio workshop in November 11th from 6:30-8:30pm at North Campus Building 50, Room 202.  A second workshop will be held on December 10th 6:30-8:30pm at Central Campus, Building 17 (library), Room 425.

 Bring a laptop if you have one and any course critical assignments you have saved on a flash drive or computer. This will be a working session where you create the portfolio template. Also bring course syllabi if you have them as the critical assignments are listed there.

Energy Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship Program Now Accepting Applications. The Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship (MLEF) Program provides students with an opportunity to gain and develop research skills with the Department of Energy’s Office of Fossil Energy for 10 weeks over the summer. For 20 years, this program has increased awareness of DOE research opportunities to students pursuing STEM degrees (science, technology, engineering and math). Stipends start at $600 per week and eligible Fellows will receive an additional travel and housing allowance. For more information, visit http://orise.orau.gov/mlef/.
Eligibility
• Be at least 18 years of age at time of application
• Be a U.S. Citizen
• Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
• Be currently enrolled full-time in a STEM program or continuing in a STEM program Fall of 2016 at an accredited college or university
• Available to participate in the full 10-week program

Nova High School is looking to hire someone for their Math Enrichment program.  Applicant must be well-rounded in Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II.  The position pays $11.27 per hour.
