Junior Achievement of South Florida, Inc. partners with ASP, Inc.(an afterschool care provider for the Broward County Public School District). We are currently looking for college students majoring in education to teach JA curriculum to several afterschool sites.  By signing up to teach the 5-6 lesson curriculum you would be paid a stipend of $100 per class that is taught.  One class represents teaching a 5 to 6 lesson curriculum to an assigned grade of students. Typically you teach one lesson per week in a JA program.


Listed below is additional information on the program.


·       These are kindergarten through 5th grade programs to be completed over a 5 to 6 week period.
·       The program will start as soon as possible and end by August 8th.
·       Each Broward College Student attends training and receives materials.
·       1.5 hour training and materials pick up takes place at JA World on the Broward College-North Campus.
·       Call Sennetha Desroches at Junior Achievement at 954-979-7101 to schedule an appointment between June 24th and July 5th.
·       Day of week (Monday through Thursday) and actual class visit time will vary from school to school.
·       Broward College Students will set their weekly schedule with their assigned ASP, Inc. Director at the school.
